UtilFarm is built on a simple principle: we never need your data to give you accurate results.

The short version

  • No accounts. No sign-up required, ever.
  • No ads. No ad networks, no trackers.
  • No data collection. Nothing you type leaves your browser.
  • No cookies (except one to remember your light/dark preference).
  • Self-hosted fonts. No calls to Google Fonts.

1. Who We Are

UtilFarm (utilfarm.com) is a free online tool suite providing calculators for finance, health, education, date & time, and general utilities. UtilFarm is an independent project and is not affiliated with any financial institution, healthcare provider, or educational body.

2. Data We Do Not Collect

We do not collect, store, transmit, or process any personal data. Specifically:

  • Calculator inputs — every number you type into a UtilFarm calculator stays entirely within your browser tab. It is never sent to a server.
  • Names, email addresses, phone numbers — we do not ask for them and have no mechanism to receive them.
  • Payment information — UtilFarm is free. We process no payments.
  • Location data — we do not request or access your location.
  • Device identifiers — we do not fingerprint your device or browser.

3. What We Do Store (Locally)

UtilFarm stores one item in your browser's localStorage:

  • uf-theme — a string ("light" or "dark") that remembers your display preference. This value never leaves your device and is not accessible to any server or third party.

You can clear this at any time by clearing your browser's site data for utilfarm.com.

4. Cookies

UtilFarm does not use cookies. No cookie banners, no consent pop-ups, no tracking pixels. The theme preference described in Section 3 is stored in localStorage, which is technically distinct from cookies and is not transmitted with HTTP requests.

5. Third-Party Services

UtilFarm is a fully static website. We minimise third-party dependencies:

  • Fonts — the Inter typeface is self-hosted on our own servers. We do not load fonts from Google Fonts or any other CDN. No font-load request leaves utilfarm.com.
  • Analytics — we do not currently use any analytics service (e.g. Google Analytics, Plausible, Mixpanel). If this changes, this policy will be updated before any analytics code is deployed.
  • Advertising — we run no advertisements and have no relationship with any ad network.
  • Hosting — our static files are served by a web host. Standard server-side access logs (IP address, request path, timestamp, user-agent) may be recorded by the hosting provider for infrastructure and security purposes. We do not access or analyse these logs for marketing purposes.

6. Children's Privacy

UtilFarm does not knowingly collect any information from children under 13 (or the applicable minimum age in your jurisdiction). Because we collect no personal data from any user, this is satisfied by our architecture. If you believe a child has submitted personal data via our site, please contact us and we will investigate immediately.

7. Your Rights (GDPR / CCPA)

Because we collect no personal data, there is nothing for us to provide, correct, or delete on your behalf. However, if you are a resident of the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, California, or another jurisdiction with data-protection rights, you may still contact us at any time and we will respond within 30 days.

Your rights under GDPR / UK GDPR / CCPA include (where applicable): the right to access data held about you; the right to rectification; the right to erasure; the right to restrict processing; the right to data portability; and the right to object to processing. Since we hold no data about you, exercising any of these rights requires no action on our part, but we will confirm this in writing if requested.

8. Security

All pages on utilfarm.com are served over HTTPS (TLS). Because no personal data is transmitted to or stored on our servers, the attack surface for a data breach on our end is effectively zero. The only data at risk would be the uf-theme value in your own browser's localStorage, which contains only the word "light" or "dark".

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. If we make material changes — for example, if we ever add analytics or a contact form — we will update this policy before deploying those changes. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
